Hello everybody,
I was very happy that day when I discovered Pareklisia
playground.
First because has grass (and personally I love grass),
second because it is big, plenty of place to run up and down, fenced and has a
very nice and cheap taverna.
Were you can ask for more?
It is biiiig, well done… great taste… the best I could ever
eat here in Cyprus
and for only 10 euro.
Very close to this playground (5 minutes driving) it is the
Saint Raphael beach. A very nice beach with shallow waters for kids which has a
new look. In front of Saint Raphael Hotel
is also a small port nice to see. So, you could enjoy a very nice morning on the
beach switching for a cheap lunch and play to Pareklisia.
It is nice shaded in the afternoons, as well hidden after a
nice hill with a gorgeous view and very quiet.
Unfortunately, I do not know the opening hours of the
taverna but promise to revise. The playground is always open from morning till
evening (with lights).
By the way… did you know you can rent an inflatable bouncing
castle and celebrate a birthday over there?
The direction are: taking the exit to Pareklisia village
(from Limassol – Nicosia highway) drive for about 1 km. Exactly before the
football play field on your left you take left for another 100 m and you will
see on your right the taverna with the playground.
Lots of sunny days from Izzy the Cypriot lizard!
