Hello everybody,
After I found out about Solomou and then I have noticed in
their presentation that they are saying about themselves that “are more than
just a garden center” I put them on my list and I run to see them.
I am really happy with the new discovery as I love very much
flowers and I always love to see them, it is fantastic also to go to a place
where you can find much more…
The gardens are simply beautiful, and you can visit each
area by type of plant: fruit and nut trees, climbers, trees, outdoor and indoor
shrubs, vegetables and ornamental etc.
The kids loved to see how the grapes are growing and the
olives in the trees, and have a wonderful walk between so many colors and
shapes. We relaxed too and we found that walks in Solomou garden can be an entertaining activity for children and there are plenty of interesting things to learn too. The location of
the garden is in fact between Larnaca and Nicosia
so it is very easy to reach from anywhere.
When I saw the playground I was surprised.
Such a big outdoor playground with so many toys around, I could
not believe my eyes. Also the children they just run away to do as many things
as possible. The playground is gorgeous, big, lots of slides, lots of climbing
surrounded by comfortable chairs and tables where you could stay and relax
while checking every move. It was fantastic. Also the coffee shop had plenty of
coffee choices and snacks at very accessible prices (one Filter coffee just
1.50 euro).
With free WiFi access, baby changing facilities, many magazines
and books to read, I could stay there for the entire day. I loved it. Kids
loved it. Definitely I will come back for more…
